Today Rashtra Jyoti filed a complaint to authorities against a disturbing case of forced conversion, domestic violence and human rights violations from Tundla, Firozabad, UP.

The victim, Jamuna Devi, has accused her husband Brijmohan alias B.M. Messi and in-laws of pressuring her and her minor daughters to abandon Hindu Dharma and adopt the religion he has converted to.

Key facts from the victim’s testimony:

– Married 11 years ago in Hindu rituals, unaware of husband’s secret conversion
– Barred Hindu worship at home
– Daughters aged 10 and 7 taken forcibly to for baptism
– Jamuna Devi attacked with scissors for resisting
– In-laws also joined pressure for conversion.
– She had to flee to her parental home after an attack on 6 Sep
