The man in the pictures is Prem Bhil – one clicked before he was diagnosed with cancer and one after it

He is a refugee from Pakistan, having come here fleeing religious persecution

He is getting treatment at a hospital free of cost under a govt scheme, but cost of medicines – about 5000 a month – remains too much for him. The household has no income as he can’t work at the factory anymore. He has a wife and three children, all under 13

In Pakistan, he wouldn’t have got even free treatment, let alone community help. He must get support here
