Shared by @GemsOfBollywood — What foresight!

In 2008, @UdayMahurkar told the USA that @narendramodi was destined to be the tallest leader of Bharat and the world.

This was when anti-Modi propaganda was at its peak.

@realDonaldTrump should read this letter and correct the arrogant blunders he is making.

In 2008, when the then CM @narendramodi was being needlessly villainized by almost everyone & US had denied him visa , I gave a note to the US Consul General in Mumbai predicting the rise of not just Bharat’s tallest leader, but a global statesman in him.

My conviction was based purely on my critical evaluation of his persona, leadership potential & his super success as Gujarat CM – not astrology, not ideology. It was an assessment made when the idea was considered unthinkable. History has proven it right.

Today, I reiterate that conviction and say this to @realDonaldTrump : ‘ Starting a trade war on India & upping the terror State of Pakistan against India will be a big mistake of your life. It will only accelerate Modi’s rise as the greatest leader of the world, delivering on poverty alleviation, world peace, climate action, and a just global order. And you will be remembered in history as one who misread India’s friendliness & warmth & paid a price’.

Below is my full 2008 note to the US Consul General, shared exactly as I had written it then. I am sharing it for the first time with any one.

Please do read this 5-page note till the end.
