“Two women named Rosmary and Jisa, both working as sisters (teachers) at CDM Junior High School in Sambhal, entered my home. They began desecrating murtis and pictures of Hindu Gods. They threw the murtis, broke them into small pieces and set them on fire. They threatened me saying: ‘Come to Church. If you continue keeping these Hindu gods and goddesses in your house, we will kill you’. The women tried to throw Ganga Jal kept in a vessel. I managed to save it saying it was paneer water. The women have been pressuring me to convert for quite some time. They even tried to feed me beef. It was only after my neighbour, Nagendra, intervened that the women left.”
