Really glad to share this. This is what your contributions enable us to do

Phoolabai, a forgotten widow whose husband was brutally killed in a hate crime on festival of Holi, now has a means of livelihood

When I visited her all-vanvasi village in a remote area of Raisen, she requested help to start a kirana shop. Today, her kirana shop is up and running, fully sponsored by @sewanyaya

We have all named it ‘Hindu Kirana Dukaan’ as a tribute to her husband Hari Singh, who was crushed by a tractor to his death by Islamists from an adjoining village on Holi over a trivial spat on colours in 2022
