They whitewash it by saying Urdu emerged in military camps to give imagery of clean-shaven well-behaved organized army heroes 🤦

Was watching an episode of Crime Patrol. The investigating officer says “koft”. His junior very rightly wonders what this strange, alien word means. The IO looks at him in disgust and says, “If you had read Hindustani literature you would not have been so ignorant.” This serial is promoting Urdu – the language that represents Muslim separatism and which was responsible for the breakup of India.
