Bollywood’s idea of ideal childhood would mortify any responsible parent. In their world, it is perfectly normal for young boys to talk about female nudity, make passes at young girls and do vulgar pelvic thrusts under the pretext of dancing. No adult around them is alarmed by this molester-in-making behaviour.
Check out this scene from a 1996 film where child actor Omkar Kapoor, other than making creepy gestures at young girls, was shown to insultingly pick on a Pandit with Shikha. He was named ‘Kishen’ in the film.
Worst of all, they named the film Masoom (Innocent).
Cheap pelvic thrusts, creepy gestures with women, insulting a Pandit with shikha, pretending to be Bal Gopal.
