Did you know that ‘Ek Haseena Thi’, the main theme song of Subhash Ghai’s Karz (1980), was a rip-off? The original song was called ‘We As Love’ by George Benson that came out two years before the film. He was never given any credit for this remake.

So much for Bollywood claiming to be India’s soft power.
