Even as content-makers take liberty with creative freedom and serve obscene content, authentic studies are increasingly proving that sexually perverted content is main cause of unstoppable rapes.

Time for @IndiaToday to realise and stop its Sex Surveys in national interest

READ ALONG

-India Today’s sex survey story carries partial pictures of sexual intercourse. This could be punishable offence if Government accepts the demand of a section of people and anti-rape activists to treat overtly sexually perverted stuff in print and on AV platforms as encouragement to rape.

-The editors have lost their sense of proportion as they seem to have forgotten that India Today is seen by small kids and the offensive pictures the magazine’s sex survey carries, can negatively impact their mind in their tender age and can lead to sexually perverted tendencies in them.

-Therefore, such stuff in India Today being probably served on the pretext of ‘we are serving because the society is wanting’ is almost comparable to the perverted stuff dished out on AV platforms, and can attract provisions of child protection laws awareness for which is increasing.

-Sometime ago, an eight-year-old boy tried to rape a three-year-old girl, provoked by perverted AV content. Can such incidents not happen with kids on seeing partial images of sexual intercourse being shown by India Today in their annual sex survey stories? Courts & @NCPCR_ must take notice.

-The plea that India Today is only a reflection of what is happening in society cannot hold in case of sexually offensive stories such as the sex survey because a public magazine is an organ for bringing positive awareness in the society and can’t escape from that responsibility.
