.@NCPCR_ has directed @MIB_India to probe & take action against @altt_in of @EktaaRKapoor for showing a school-girl having s*x with a male in its OTT movie ‘Raseeli Ratein’

The complaint was filed by #SaveCultureSaveBharat @scsb_f of @UdayMahurkar ji, former Central Information Commissioner, Government of India

NCPCR has also recommended to MIB Secy Shri Sanjay Jaju to probe & take action against iOS & Google Play store for allowing access to children by ignoring KYC for the said movie & violating the POCSO Act

The MIB has been told that stringent measures be implemented to mandate Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures for all applications streaming such videos on the Google Play Store and iOS platforms, in accordance with the law, to protect children from accessing these applications and ensure the immediate removal of the said explicit content

MIB has been directed to share a detailed Report to the Commission in 10 days on the issue
