15 Pakistani Hindu kids, trained under our self-defense program at @sewanyaya, have been selected for a national-level competition. This is a first for such kids and has been widely covered in local media as well

It took quite a lot of time to make this happen – getting school permission for practice time, getting uniforms made, and most importantly, convincing their parents to let them train and participate, especially girls.

Parents of girls from this community cannot help being skeptical about sending daughters away given their fear of kidnappings in Pakistan. All of these families migrated to Bharat in the last 4-5 years. All of these kids were born in Pakistan
