Let us take a holy vow on a holy day – Maha Shivratri. With reels of barely-clad women & dress-less men like Ranveer Singh wreaking havoc on Bharat’s culture, @scsb_f & @GemsOfBollywood call for a national debate on dignified dressing or गौरवपूर्ण परिधान for both men and women.

Dignified dressing isn’t anti-modern, nor does it support Burqa culture. Even till early 1960s, wearing a bikini in public could invite police action in many European countries, including Italy—the West, too, once respected this standard.

But with the rise of Hollywood in the West and Bollywood in Bharat, this foundational aspect of all civilizations has been systematically eroded. OTT & social media platforms have only added to it. This isn’t just India’s battle—entire humanity must reclaim its dignity.

In Bharat, concerned parents, teachers, and responsible youth have a pivotal role to play in restoring this balance.
