Dara Shikoh seems yet another Mughal fighting for the kursi of mafia.

He apparently indulged in the same decadence and debauchery as Shah Jahan – whose favourite son he was.

His so-called "Upanishadic leanings" seem more like a ghost-written political stunt or posthumous PR fabrication to win Hindu support.

If he was truly seeking spiritual salvation, why was he so obsessed with posing to be painted with naked concubines?

The paintings speak louder than the manufactured narratives.

Further, when Dara Shikoh was captured, the favourite son of pervert Shah Jahan requested Aurangzeb to allow him house arrest with a concubine of his choice instead of killing him!

History(?) glorifies him to create an "acceptable Mughal face", but it seems he was no different.
