Just came back from Bharpatiya village in Bihar’s West Champaran.

We honoured 7 local heroes with Rashtra Jyoti Samman for standing up to a powerful conversion network trying to take root in their area.

A pastor from a major faith-healing mafia had tried to open shop here. Villagers resisted and got it shut down. And now five surrounding villages have followed their lead

This is how you defeat illegal conversions, with courage and community support.

So proud of these unsung karmyogis. We just helped amplify their work.

Thanks a lot to Shri @KanoongoPriyank of NHRC for gracing the event and address the community directly
