She is Moomal Devi, a Pakistani Hindu refugee and a widowed woman, living in outskirts of Jodhpur. Her house wall had collapsed, and for months, she lived with stray animals wandering into the house, destroying food and belongings. Moomal is a single mother of three and works at a factory to earn a living

When we learnt about her, we immediately intervened and built not only that wall but gave extra fencing
