Spoke on ‘Role of Media in Nation Building’ at Gayatri Parivar’s ( @awgpofficial ) Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidhyalaya’s ( @dsvvofficial ) seminar in Hardwar where @RSSorg ‘s Sarkaryawah @DattaHosabale ji was the Chief Guest.

I said at a time when India stands at the threshold of greatness under the leadership of PM @narendramodi none can deny that media too had played a role in this growth story. But i pointed it had also failed the nation in many crucial moments when it should have stood by truthfulness. But there have been a few exceptions, i said.

The examples i gave of media’s one sided reporting against national interest or were the coverage of 2002 Gujarat riots & its failure to expose radical Islamists in Muslim community & purveyors of s€xually perverted content on OTT & AV platforms which was coming on citizen’s phones & leading to majority of rapes in the country.

I said only the inculcation of Veer Savarkar’s true Nation-First approach amongst budding journalists from the point they start their medi education & training can address this problem.

Dattatreya Hosabale ji & head of Gayatri Parivar @DrChinmayP ji gave enlightened speeches on the occasion on the role of the media. So did former editor of RSS magazine Panchjanya, @Tarunvijay ji, & editor of @SudarshanNewsTV , @SureshChavhanke ji. Shri Praveen Chaturvedi ji, founder of @prachyam7 , India’s first truly Sanatani OTT platform, was also present on the occasion.

In my speech i invoked the teachings of our great saints, Swami Vivekanand, Shri Aurobindo, my Guru Swami Pranvanand ji , founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangh, & founders of Gayatri Parivar PP Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya ji & Mataji who raised the nation’s spiritual consciousness with their inculcation of Gayatri Mantra in our citizens.
