How phoney are these Bollywood wallahs! They frequently show up at famous shrines and mosques around the country before their film’s release. But when it comes to filming scenes where the protagonist ignores the symbolic presence of a deity while doing immoral deeds, the God of choice is a Hindu deva and not an icon/ photo of the same dargahs they visit.
Check out the gem below. It reinforces the age-old Urduwood narrative that Hindu Devi/Devata are not as reverence-worthy and powerful as Gods of the Abrahamic faiths.

This film throws gem after gem of the Hinduphobic Bollywood agenda at a rate of knots.
A few seconds before this gem, Sanju maligns the Shastras and misinforms a young woman about their wisdom so that she becomes sexually available to his friend. The following day, he informs his friend proudly about how he got rid of the “floozy” that cheated on her boyfriend with Sanju. Just then, he receives a call from a “Hindu terrorist” threatening to rape his sister and kill his father for doing charitable work in a Muslim-dominated area.
In reality, Dutt was arrested after the 1993 Mumbai blasts for illegally possessing arms, and Mumbai Police even released his conversation with Chhota Shakeel.
When he was questioned by the police on his motive, he said, “Because I have Muslim blood in my veins. I could not bear what was happening in the city.” Dutt said this to his father, Sunil Dutt, in front of the police.
But when did Bollywood ever have the spine to show the truth?
Recently, Dutt reiterated his dismissal attitude towards Hindu sentiments when he posted an open letter on his social media accounts declaring that he stands by the film Shamshera and that those who have criticised it over its Hinduphobic content are “spewing hatred” on “one of the most hardworking and talented actors of our times.”
In the film, Dutt played Shuddh Singh, a devout Brahmin and (hence?) a ruthless barbarian. His character flaunts a Shikha and a Tripund Teeka.
